These Chubby Critters just keep getting cuter! This week’s bear isn’t quite finished - he’s still missing his little bottom feet - but I’m so happy with how he’s coming along. My shelf is filling up fast (minus the raccoon who found a new home with a friend). Next up will either be a monkey or that lion I’ve been teasing about for a few weeks. Someone also suggested a cow, and now I can’t get that idea out of my head! Honestly, these little critters would make the sweetest ornaments.
It’s been a slower week for orders, which gave me a chance to finish the fox from Sophie Wheatly’s class. I’m thrilled with how it turned out! This is my second realistic animal 2D wool painting, and it’s got me thinking about adding a few animal painting projects to my Creative Hub Membership next year.
Speaking of the Hub, I wrapped up the Fall Leaf scene this week and love how it came together. Someone suggested I make two more leaves and frame them as a trio, such a great idea! I might try a couple of different leaf shapes and see how it looks. I’m still deciding on our next project for Thursday’s live, but a few fun ideas are swirling around.
